Since the whole getting-got-by-a-bot thing, i've been really starting to think again about how this website has changed in recent times. A few things changed for the better, but overwhelmingly a lot more changed for the worse. Feedback has become a white noise of individual actions drowning out any sense of meaning or progress, and the support is at best hamstrung by the new systems that have come in to replace the old ones. I'd been thinking about what to do for a while, but this incident simply brought home how much I can't post here on dA, how much i fear that any day some puritan moderator might stumble upon my page and decide that despite clearly being inside the rules and intended as fun and soft, they might see fit to deem me as violating something. I know i'm not, for i've trawled across the entire set of rules, but i've been seeing more friends get that exact treatment when they didn't do anything wrong.
